Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the ActionNote app (“ActionNote,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use ActionNote.

1. The service

ActionNote records and imports audio and uses on-device and cloud AI to generate transcripts, summaries, tasks, and answers about your notes. Features and availability may change over time.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use ActionNote. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.

3. Subscriptions, billing & free trials

• ActionNote Pro is offered as an auto-renewable subscription (monthly or yearly).
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device’s Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

4. Your content

You own your notes and recordings. You grant ActionNote a limited license to process your content solely to provide the app’s features (for example, transcribing and organizing your notes). We do not claim ownership of your content and do not sell it.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use ActionNote to break the law, infringe others’ rights, or record people without any consent required where you live. You are responsible for how you use the app and the content you capture.

6. AI output disclaimer

Transcripts, summaries, tasks, and answers are generated by automated AI systems and may be inaccurate or incomplete. They are provided “as is” and are not professional, legal, medical, or financial advice. Please verify anything important.

7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

ActionNote is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data arising from your use of the app.

8. Termination

You may stop using ActionNote and delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of ActionNote after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
